When I started blogging in 2014 I started it as a hobby. Last summer I decided to really work hard at it and it has become a true passion. Fast forward one year later and I would have never thought I would have an opportunity to work with my favorite place on Earth!
Recently, we were chosen to host a #nowmorethanever Disney play date party. It has truly been a dream come true!
We wanted to share our good fortune with our community and invite them to participate in our party. We knew we needed a bigger space so we asked our local library if we could host our party there. They, of course, accepted so we created a flyer and spread the word about the Disney play date party.
To help in planning our party we received an awesome box of goodies from Disney Parks. The box was filled with Minnie Ears from Shop Disney , A Rapunzel dress and doll from Jakks Pacific Toys, A Mickey Emoji Pillow Pet, and a popcorn cake from Popped Passion as well as many other party essentials.
We started our party with a “guess the Disney movie” quiz that my husband created. The kids really loved this! They were so excited every time they got the answer correct!!
We then had story time. Our librarian, Ms. Martha read the kids “The Little Mermaid” and she even serenaded us with “Part of Your World”. She truly is an amazing person and really got into the Disney spirit.
The kids then competed in the “Pin the Nose on Mickey” and had tons of fun putting together their Fortune Teller Craft.
We also broke a Pinata that was filled with candy and some delicious treats provided to us by Brothers All Natural.
Each of our attendees also received a special gift from Bumkins Baby! We are so lucky to have had some GREAT sponsors.
We then raffled off the Mickey Mouse Emoji Pillow Pet, Disney Rapunzel doll and dress to some lucky winners. The library also donated some Disney books for us to raffle as well! The anticipation of who would win the next prize was electric and had the room buzzing!

Of course, the kids (and parents) were treated to some thirst quenching juice and everyone RAVED about the delicious Popped Passion cake!
We had so much working alongside Disney Parks for this event and especially to see so many children from our community come out and enjoy some Disney Magic!
